🚀 Key Responsibilities
Lead the company’s financial operations strategy, ensuring strong financial discipline, operational efficiency, and effective resource management.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, working capital, and financial performance analysis.
Partner with the CFO, CEO, and executive leadership team to translate business strategy into actionable financial plans and operating priorities.
Monitor revenue, expenses, margins, profitability, cash flow, and other key financial performance indicators.
Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, processes, and reporting standards to support accurate and timely decision-making.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews, including variance analysis, performance reporting, and corrective action planning.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury coordination, cash management, and other core financial operations as applicable.
Evaluate business cases, investments, capital requirements, and financial implications of major strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, Sales, Technology, Legal, and other functions to improve financial and operational performance.
Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP, financial planning, reporting, analytics, automation, and other financial systems.
Ensure financial operations comply with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk-management frameworks.
Establish financial KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting for senior leadership and the Board.
Identify financial and operational risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance and financial operations teams.
🎓 Experience Requirements
12+ years of progressive experience in financial operations, finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in senior management or executive-level finance leadership, preferably in a VP, Head of Finance, Controller, or equivalent role.
Demonstrated experience managing financial operations across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow, working capital, profitability, and financial controls.
Strong understanding of financial statements, management reporting, operational finance, cost management, and performance analysis.
Proven experience improving financial processes, implementing scalable systems, and driving operational efficiencies.
Experience managing significant budgets, financial resources, and cross-functional business initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to work directly with C-suite executives, Boards, investors, auditors, financial institutions, and external advisors.
Strong analytical, strategic planning, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience leading and developing finance teams in complex or multi-entity organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required.
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced qualification preferred.
Experience in financial services, technology, SaaS, fintech, healthcare, investment, or digital assets is preferred.
