Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and driving sustainable growth across all service lines. This role will design and implement operational processes, performance metrics, and quality standards to ensure consistent delivery of property reports, inspections, and compliance services. The COO will collaborate closely with the founder and leadership team on business planning, resource allocation, and financial oversight, including budgeting and forecasting. Daily responsibilities include managing operations staff and contractors, optimizing workflows and technology tools, monitoring service levels and turnaround times, and ensuring regulatory and industry compliance. The COO will also lead continuous improvement initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and support the expansion of services and geographical coverage.
Qualifications
Strong Business Planning skills, including strategic planning, goal setting, and execution of growth initiatives.
Proven Operations Management experience, with the ability to design, refine, and scale processes in a service-driven environment.
Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting operational, financial, and performance data to inform decisions.
Solid Finance and Budgeting capabilities, including managing P&L, cost control, and financial forecasting.
Experience in property services, facilities management, or real estate operations is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated leadership ability, including remote team management, performance coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with clients and partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification is an advantage.
