About the Role
DigitalTek Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented AML / KYC Analyst to support financial crime compliance initiatives for banking and financial services clients across North America.
This role focuses on monitoring financial activity, conducting investigations, performing customer due diligence reviews, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to anti-money laundering and financial crime prevention.
The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing alerts, investigating suspicious activity, and preparing case documentation in accordance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct AML investigations related to suspicious financial transactions and activities
• Review alerts generated through transaction monitoring systems
• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for higher-risk customers
• Analyze transactional data to identify potential money laundering or fraud patterns
• Document investigation findings and maintain case records
• Escalate suspicious activity in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
• Assist with preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) or equivalent regulatory filings
• Support sanctions screening and compliance reviews
• Maintain compliance with AML regulations and internal policies
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Criminal Justice, or related field
• 1 to 10+ years of experience in AML, KYC, or financial crime compliance
• Strong understanding of AML regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
• Experience reviewing alerts from transaction monitoring systems
• Strong analytical and investigative skills
• Ability to review high volumes of financial data with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation tools
