Role Description The AI Researcher internship is a remote role focused on exploring and developing concepts at the intersection of artificial intelligence, storytelling, and creative ecosystems. Day-to-day tasks may include conducting literature reviews on AI and machine learning, analyzing emerging trends and tools, and drafting research summaries and concept notes. Interns will help design and test experimental workflows, contribute to documentation and basic prototypes, and collaborate with other team members to evaluate the ethical and social impact of proposed AI solutions. This internship also involves participating in virtual meetings, presenting findings, and refining ideas based on feedback to support ongoing research initiatives.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, including familiarity with common models, tools, or frameworks.
Ability to conduct structured research, synthesize technical and non-technical sources, and present clear written and visual summaries.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and an interest in ethical, social, and creative implications of AI.
Comfort with remote collaboration tools, time management, and working independently on defined research tasks.
Relevant academic background or coursework in computer science, data science, cognitive science, media studies, or related fields.
Interest in storytelling, design, or creative industries and how AI can enhance or transform creative ecosystems.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
