Role Description The Senior Sales Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for driving sales growth and strategic account development across assigned territories and market segments. This role leads the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing business for advanced electronics materials and solutions. The Senior Sales Manager collaborates with technical, product, and marketing teams to align customer needs with MacDermid Alpha’s portfolio, support product introductions, and ensure high-quality customer experience. Day-to-day activities include building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, analyzing market trends and competitive activity, preparing sales forecasts and performance reports, and participating in industry events and customer meetings (virtual or in-person as required). The role also involves mentoring junior sales team members, contributing to sales strategy, and ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in B2B sales, account management, and business development within advanced materials, electronics, or related industrial sectors.
Strong skills in relationship building, stakeholder management, and customer communication, including presenting complex technical solutions to diverse audiences.
Experience with sales planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and use of CRM tools to track activities and performance.
Ability to analyze market data, competitive landscapes, and customer requirements to inform pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
Proven capability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional, and global environment, managing priorities and travel as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
Background in electronics manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or materials science is highly beneficial.
