About the Role
The Senior Project Manager - Events drives the execution of high-impact event initiatives by bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to cross-functional work. This role manages various event formats, ranging from field marketing events to large-scale trade shows, and leads key components of larger experiential initiatives, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned on scope, timelines, dependencies, and delivery expectations.
Working across marketing, sales, and external vendors, this position maintains project momentum, surfaces risks early, and improves event operations. The role requires strong organizational capabilities, close attention to detail, the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to balance execution rigor with adaptability as logistics or priorities evolve.

Responsibilities
• Manage project plans for event initiatives, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, budgeting, and clear ownership across stakeholders.
• Drive day-to-day execution of event logistics, venue coordination, promotional materials, and on-site operations to ensure events are delivered seamlessly and with high quality.
• Identify project risks, logistical blockers, and process gaps early, proactively driving resolution with internal partners and external vendors.
• Communicate event status, run-of-shows, decisions, and action items clearly to provide teams with necessary context.
• Improve event management workflows, documentation, and team coordination practices to support efficient ongoing event execution.
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience working in an event specialist or event project manager role at a B2B company.
• Background in managing high-level cross-functional trade shows, field events, corporate sponsorships, or virtual experiences.
• Experience in event project management, field marketing, experiential marketing, or a similar cross-functional role.
• Experience managing multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and evolving requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with Asana or similar project management tools, Google Workspace, Figma, Glean, ChatGPT, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, along with spreadsheet-based tracking and reporting.
• Foundational understanding of event timelines, run-of-shows, and general project management functions.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage third-party vendors, maintain accountability, and keep projects moving through ambiguity.
• Ability to take ownership of the production, logistics, and execution of event strategies defined by project drivers.
• Ability to work within team OKRs and event budgets, influencing outcomes through collaborative and rigorous project management.
• Understanding of attendee needs and ability to apply that perspective to event execution and overall event experience.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate decision-making, remove blockers, and keep stakeholders informed before, during, and after events.
• Ability to proactively identify operational inefficiencies or on-site execution risks and drive solutions to completion.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with event registration software such as Zuddle.
Compensation and Benefits
• Annual base salary range: $92,000—$127,000 USD (compensation is based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, and residence location).
• Total compensation may include restricted stock units for certain roles.
• Comprehensive benefits package including health, pharmacy, optical, and dental care; paid time off and sick time off; short-term and long-term disability coverage; life insurance; and 401(k) retirement contributions (subject to eligibility requirements).
