Role Description The Interior Design Intern will support the design team with daily tasks, including assisting in space planning, developing design concepts, and preparing mood boards and presentations. Responsibilities include researching materials and finishes, helping with FF&E selections, and organizing furniture and product specifications. The intern will also help maintain digital project files and collaborate in virtual meetings to support ongoing projects. This is a remote internship role, allowing the intern to work closely with designers via online tools and communication platforms.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
Candidates should possess skills related to Furniture and FF&E (fixtures, furnishings, and equipment).
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication.
Basic proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) is beneficial.
Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team.
A portfolio or samples of design work demonstrating creativity and attention to detail are an advantage.
