Role Description The Plant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for overseeing daily plant operations and ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable production activities. This role involves planning and monitoring workflows, managing resources, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Plant Operations Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, implement reliability and TPM initiatives, and support the adoption of new technologies in line with the company’s sustainability and efficiency goals. Key responsibilities include supervising plant staff, optimizing equipment performance, managing operational budgets, and preparing regular reports on production, downtime, and process improvements. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to maintain high operational performance and support customer commitments.
Qualifications
Experience in plant operations management, including production planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
Knowledge of lubrication reliability, oil purification, filtration systems, and industrial maintenance practices is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with TPM, reliability-centered maintenance, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is preferred.
Ability to manage on-site teams, provide clear direction, and promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and implement corrective actions.
Understanding of ESG, Clean Tech, and sustainability concepts in industrial operations is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
