Role Description The Vice President of Product Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for guiding the long-term vision and performance of VMS’s product portfolio. This role leads the development and execution of product strategies across DME, rehab, mobility, and related categories, aligning offerings with patient needs, payer requirements, and market opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing market and competitive trends, defining product roadmaps, collaborating with operations, sales, clinical staff, and finance, and setting pricing and positioning strategies. The Vice President of Product Strategy will oversee product lifecycle management, evaluate new product opportunities, and ensure that product decisions support regulatory compliance and financial sustainability. This role also mentors product management team members, establishes measurable goals for product performance, and reports regularly to executive leadership on strategic initiatives and outcomes.
Qualifications
Demonstrated strength in Product Strategy and Strategic Planning to define long-term product vision and roadmaps.
Experience in Product Management, including product lifecycle oversight, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination.
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret market data, financial metrics, and patient outcomes to inform decisions.
Working knowledge of Finance related to budgeting, pricing, reimbursement, and profitability analysis.
Previous leadership experience in healthcare, medical devices, or durable medical equipment is highly beneficial.
Proven ability to lead remote teams, influence stakeholders, and build collaborative relationships across functions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.
