Role Description The Senior Director Finance is a full-time remote role responsible for leading Zaif Media’s overall financial strategy and operations. This position oversees budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial reporting cycles, reviewing and interpreting financial statements, and providing analytical insights to executive leadership for decision-making. The Senior Director Finance will design and refine financial controls, optimize cash flow, and oversee compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory standards. This role also includes leading and mentoring finance team members, collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders, and preparing clear financial presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles managing organizational finances.
Expertise in Financial Planning and budgeting, including long-range forecasting and resource allocation.
Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and support strategic business decisions.
Experience leading finance teams, including coaching, performance management, and building effective processes.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is beneficial.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in media, digital content, or technology sectors is an advantage.
