Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bawana. The person in this role will create and modify detailed CAD drawings and 3D models for engineering and construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical and construction drawings, updating design documents based on feedback, coordinating with engineers and other stakeholders, and maintaining organized drawing files and records. The CAD Designer will review design inputs, identify potential issues, and suggest practical improvements to support efficient project execution. The role also involves complying with company drafting standards, meeting project timelines, and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Technical Drawing and general Drawing, with the ability to interpret and produce clear, detailed plans.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software, with experience creating 2D and 3D models.
Experience developing and reading Construction Drawings, including layouts, sections, and detail drawings.
Knowledge of Design Engineering principles to translate project requirements into practical, buildable designs.
Relevant diploma or degree in mechanical, civil, architectural, or related engineering/design discipline.
Attention to detail, strong spatial understanding, and ability to work accurately under time constraints.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineering and project teams on-site.
Familiarity with industry standards, drafting conventions, and basic quality control practices.
