Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves guiding prospective students and families through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, conducting consultations (in-person, phone, or online), explaining program offerings and admission criteria, and maintaining accurate records in admissions systems. The Admissions Counselor collaborates with internal teams to coordinate events, information sessions, and outreach activities, while meeting established enrollment targets. The role also requires regular follow-ups, thoughtful counseling, and proactive communication to ensure a positive applicant experience.
Qualifications
Strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Customer Service skills to provide responsive support and handle inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Sales skills to manage outreach, follow-ups, and conversion of leads into successful enrollments.
Understanding of Education programs or academic environments to guide applicants toward suitable options.
Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage time effectively, and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
Comfort using CRM or admissions management software and standard office productivity tools.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
Prior experience in admissions, counseling, education advisory, or a related customer-facing role is an advantage.
