Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Mechanical Designer will create detailed technical drawings and 3D models for mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with engineers to develop machine designs, reviewing specifications, and ensuring designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturability requirements. The role involves supporting research and development activities, refining existing designs, and preparing documentation for production and installation. The Mechanical Designer will also coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues and contribute to project timelines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
Candidates should possess solid knowledge in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering.
Candidates should possess abilities in Research and Development (R&D) for improving and innovating mechanical systems.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is highly beneficial.
Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Ahmedabad.
Experience in industrial or manufacturing design projects and familiarity with relevant standards and safety regulations is an advantage.
