Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Account Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts by building strong relationships, understanding customer requirements, and recommending appropriate measurement and control solutions. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal technical and service teams, preparing proposals and quotations, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues. The role also involves monitoring account performance, identifying new business opportunities, supporting contract negotiations, and providing accurate sales forecasts and reports. The Account Manager will represent Nordson Measurement & Control Solutions professionally in all customer interactions and contribute to achieving regional sales and customer satisfaction targets.
Qualifications
Strong account management and customer relationship skills, including experience in B2B sales or technical solutions selling.
Ability to understand industrial measurement and control applications, with aptitude for learning complex products and systems.
Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
Organizational and planning skills to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software (e.g., MS Office suite) for reporting, documentation, and forecasting.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field; experience in industrial automation, process control, or manufacturing is an advantage.
Proactive, results-oriented approach, with capability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required within the region.
