SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud) Developer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud) Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise analytics, data integration, and cloud-based data management solutions within the SAP ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP BW/HANA, enabling scalable, data-driven business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop end-to-end analytics and reporting solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Build and maintain scalable data models in SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud.
Integrate and harmonize data from SAP and non-SAP source systems.
Develop and optimize data pipelines, transformation logic, and analytical models.
Create interactive dashboards, KPI reports, and business insights.
Perform data automation, orchestration, and performance tuning activities.
Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
Ensure data governance, security, and adherence to SAP best practices.
Support enhancements, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
Expertise in SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Experience with SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA data modeling.
Strong SQL development and data modeling skills.
Experience in data integration, ETL, and data migration activities.
Knowledge of SAP data architecture, reporting, and analytics frameworks.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have
Python or JavaScript exposure for analytics customization.
SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
AI/ML and Predictive Analytics exposure within SAP ecosystem.
Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP cloud platforms.
Qualifications
8 to 12 years of overall IT experience with significant SAP Analytics/Data Platform experience.
