Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Supervisor, based in Rajkot. The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage daily production activities, ensure adherence to production schedules, and maintain high-quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating production planning, supervising shop floor operations, managing production staff, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Diploma / B. Tech / Mechanical or Any related field
2–3 years of experience in production (Fasteners manufacturing industry preferred)
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily screw production work on the factory floor.
Ensure timely execution of production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and customer specifications.
Make sure workers follow the production plan.
Monitor machinery (e.g., cold headers, thread rollers, heat treatment equipment) for optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Check the quality of screws during and after production.
Help in fixing machine or production problems.
Train and guide new and existing workers on processes, tools, and company policies.
Keep records of daily production and report to the manager.
Make sure safety rules are followed at all times.
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and tooling; coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
Monitor use of raw materials to avoid waste.
Work with maintenance if machines need repair.
Keep the production area clean and safe.
