Role Description The Digital Marketing Intern role is a remote position designed to support day-to-day marketing activities across paid and organic digital channels. The intern will assist with social media marketing, including content scheduling, community engagement, and basic performance tracking. Responsibilities also include supporting campaign setup and optimization for digital and online marketing initiatives, such as assisting with ad copy, keyword research, and landing page reviews. The intern will help collect and interpret web analytics data to generate simple reports and insights that inform ongoing campaigns. Additional tasks may include competitor research, drafting marketing assets, and collaborating with team members to ensure consistent brand messaging. This role offers hands-on experience in performance marketing and exposure to data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced agency environment.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in Social Media Marketing and Online Marketing, with an interest in managing campaigns across platforms like Meta, Instagram, and other social networks.
Basic understanding of Digital Marketing concepts, including paid media, content marketing, and funnel-based strategy.
Introductory experience or coursework in Web Analytics, with the ability to interpret metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Strong Communication skills, including clear written communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
Comfort with digital tools such as social media management platforms, basic spreadsheet software, and presentation tools; familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools is a plus.
Demonstrated curiosity about performance marketing, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback and mentorship.
