We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager / Sustainability Director to lead sustainability strategy, environmental initiatives, ESG programmes, and sustainability performance across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sustainability strategies, ESG programmes, policies, and targets.
Lead initiatives covering carbon reduction, energy efficiency, waste management, resource efficiency, and environmental performance.
Monitor and report on sustainability KPIs, carbon emissions, ESG metrics, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct sustainability assessments, audits, risk reviews, and improvement programmes.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, procurement, finance, HR, and leadership teams to integrate sustainability into business operations.
Support green building certifications, sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, and compliance initiatives.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiency, climate resilience, and sustainable business practices.
Lead and mentor sustainability, environmental, and ESG teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, ESG, Environmental Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, or a related senior role.
Strong knowledge of carbon management, energy efficiency, environmental regulations, ESG reporting, and sustainability frameworks.
Familiarity with GRI, GHG Protocol, TCFD/ISSB, LEED, BREEAM, Green Mark, or other relevant standards.
Strong analytical, strategic, communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, regulators, consultants, and senior stakeholders.
Relevant certification in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, or energy management is an advantage.
Experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, manufacturing, technology, or other relevant industries is preferred.
