Role Description The Application Engineer role at Carbloy is a full-time, on-site position based in Sonipat. The individual in this role will support customers and the sales team by evaluating machining applications, recommending appropriate cutting tools, and optimizing process parameters for improved efficiency and tool life. Daily responsibilities include providing technical support, conducting tooling trials and testing, analyzing performance data, and preparing application reports and documentation. The Application Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to customize solutions, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful implementation of Carbloy’s products. The role also involves training customers and internal stakeholders on best practices, new products, and advanced machining techniques.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, customer-facing application support, and solution-oriented communication.
Candidates should possess relevant Software Development and testing exposure for CNC programming, CAM tools, or application integration where applicable.
Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge, particularly in machining processes, cutting tool technology, and materials.
Candidates should possess basic Electrical Engineering understanding related to CNC machines, control systems, and shop-floor equipment.
Candidates should possess hands-on Testing skills for tooling trials, process validation, and performance measurement.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
Experience with CNC machining, cutting tool selection, and process optimization in sectors such as automotive or aerospace is highly beneficial.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with customers, sales teams, and internal engineering stakeholders.
Willingness to work on-site in Sonipat and travel to customer locations as required.
