Role Description The Financial Risk Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and monitoring financial risks across projects and business operations, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks. The associate will analyze financial data, prepare risk assessment reports, and support the design and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and controls. They will collaborate with finance, operations, and consulting teams to review client engagements, ensure compliance with internal policies, and contribute to forecasting and scenario analysis. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting audits, and recommending process improvements to strengthen overall risk management.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience interpreting financial statements, performing variance analysis, and working with large data sets.
Knowledge of financial risk concepts such as credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk, and familiarity with standard risk assessment frameworks.
Proficiency in tools such as Excel (advanced functions, financial modeling), and comfort with dashboards or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
Ability to prepare clear reports and presentations, with strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a consulting environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in risk management or finance (e.g., FRM, CFA level, CPA) are an advantage.
Exposure to consulting, financial services, or SaaS-driven businesses is a plus, along with an interest in customer experience and process improvement.
