Someone I know has spent four years insisting that their shed is a building.
It has a floor, a door that locks, power, a kettle, and a calendar from 2019 nobody has taken down. The neighbor says shed, at a volume I can hear from my kitchen. In four years neither of them has looked up what the word means in the only document where it counts.

Coverage litigation is mostly that. A word written into a policy years before anyone needed it, and everything afterwards hanging off what that word turns out to mean, with two sides reading the same sentence and coming away with different answers.
This seat can be full time, part time or contract, and they'll shape it around whoever they hire. Three days a week is fine, so is coming back after time out, and so is contract while something else in your life takes priority for a while. Remote's on the table and you don't have to be in California.
They're open on level too. Associate is upto $165,000, senior or of counsel $140,000 to $215,000, and partner $190,000 to $275,000 and up. There's more than one hire, they're very relaxed about experience, and you're paid for the level you come in at.
The shed is a shed, by the way. It took me four minutes to look up and it ended a four year argument.
