Fleet Manager
Location: Between Ajman and Sharjah, UAE
Schedule: 5 days per week | 8:00 am to 6:30 pm
Role purpose
Manage fleet operations to deliver food products safely, reliably and cost effectively.
Experience and mandatory requirements
Minimum 5 years as a Fleet Manager in the food industry, with UAE experience. SAP is mandatory.
Key responsibilities
Plan vehicle allocation, delivery routes and driver schedules in coordination with dispatch and sales.
Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and vehicle availability; maintain fleet records in SAP.
Monitor fuel consumption, transport costs, utilisation and delivery performance; investigate variances.
Supervise drivers, reinforce safe driving and ensure clean vehicles suitable for food distribution.
Coordinate vehicle registration, insurance, service providers and incident reporting.
Maintain delivery documentation and support traceability and customer issue resolution.
Skills and capabilities
Hands-on SAP capability for relevant fleet, maintenance or logistics processes.
Strong route planning, team supervision, reporting and vendor coordination skills
