Role Description The Offset Printing Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring offset printing machines to produce printed materials according to job specifications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing plates, adjusting ink and registration, loading paper, and performing test runs to ensure color accuracy and print quality. The role involves routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues to minimize downtime. The operator collaborates with the production team and bindery staff to meet deadlines, follow safety guidelines, and maintain an orderly, efficient work area.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Printing and Offset print production processes.
Candidates should possess skills in Print Production planning and workflow coordination.
Candidates should possess skills in Printer Support and basic equipment troubleshooting.
Candidates should possess skills in Bindery operations, including cutting, folding, and finishing.
Candidates should possess skills in Inkjet printing and familiarity with different printing technologies.
Relevant experience operating offset printing machines in a production environment.
Ability to read and follow job tickets, technical instructions, and quality standards.
Attention to detail, good color sense, and commitment to workplace safety.
Willingness to work in shifts if required and to stand for extended periods.
A vocational qualification or training in printing technology or a related field is an advantage.
