What you'll be doing:
Advising on risk management and how to avoid claims in the first place, contract reviews and seminars included
Investigating, evaluating and monitoring the defense of complex professional liability claims
Being the go between for underwriters and senior claims adjusters, with your own independent view on exposure
Working out and negotiating how significant construction disputes get resolved
Engaging and managing local counsel, properly, not just forwarding emails
What you'll have:
Complex civil litigation, ideally construction, or claims management, or time in the design and construction industry
You've dealt with insurers
Admitted to The California Bar
The judgment to steer high value claims
