Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Instrumentation Engineer role located in Visakhapatnam. The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes. Day-to-day tasks include configuring control loops, supervising calibration activities, monitoring system performance, and identifying opportunities for optimization and reliability. The role involves troubleshooting equipment and system issues, coordinating with electrical and mechanical teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Instrumentation Engineer will also prepare technical documentation, support project execution, and provide guidance to operations staff on proper use of instrumentation and control systems.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of instrumentation and process control systems, including design, configuration, and maintenance.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics for instrumentation and control-related issues.
Understanding of electrical engineering principles related to industrial instrumentation and control.
Experience with calibration of sensors, transmitters, control valves, and related field instruments.
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
Familiarity with PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols is an advantage.
Strong commitment to safety standards, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
