Role Description The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing daily manufacturing operations in an on-site setting in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. This full-time role includes planning and coordinating production activities, monitoring workflow, and ensuring that products meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. The Production Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve technical issues, improve processes, and support timely delivery of parts. Responsibilities also include analyzing production data, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining clear documentation for procedures and performance metrics. The role requires hands-on involvement on the shop floor and effective communication to align teams on production goals.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Production Engineering, including knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Proficient Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify issues, and propose improvements.
Experience in Production Planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for efficient operations.
Knowledge of Quality Control practices, standards, and tools to ensure product compliance.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and basic CAD or technical drawing interpretation.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, startup-oriented environment.
