Role Description The Mechanical Engineer role at PInterview is a full-time remote position focused on developing high-quality engineering content and practical scenarios for mock interviews and learning modules. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing mechanical engineering problems, case studies, and design challenges aligned with industry standards, as well as collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy. The Mechanical Engineer will help design structured practice tracks for mechanical engineering interview preparation, contribute to research on current industry trends and tools, and support continuous improvement of the platform’s engineering-related offerings. This role also involves providing technical insights for new features, ensuring that the learning experience reflects real-world mechanical engineering practice and expectations.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to real-world design and analysis scenarios.
Proficiency in Machine Design and related engineering calculations, standards, and materials selection.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or similar) for modeling and design review.
Experience in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration on engineering initiatives.
Background in Research and Development (R&D), with skills in problem-solving, innovation, and evaluating new technologies or methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Comfort working independently in a remote environment, with reliable time management and self-organization skills.
Familiarity with common mechanical engineering interview topics and industry practices is highly beneficial.
Experience in education, mentoring, or training (such as tutoring, teaching assistance, or technical coaching) is a plus.
