Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Java Developer at PInterview. The Junior Java Developer will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications that support the platform’s interview and learning services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, participating in code reviews, fixing bugs, and supporting the implementation of new features in collaboration with senior developers and product teams. The role also involves working with microservices and Spring-based components, contributing to system integration, and helping optimize performance and reliability. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, comfortable working in distributed teams, and motivated to improve the user experience for students and professionals globally.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in Programming and Java, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
Basic understanding of Software Development principles, version control, and SDLC practices.
Knowledge of Spring Framework and related tools for building Java applications.
Familiarity with Microservices concepts and RESTful APIs is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Ability to learn quickly, follow best practices, and collaborate effectively in remote teams.
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
Experience with databases, unit testing, or cloud platforms is a plus.
