We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer to contribute technical knowledge, quality oversight, project coordination, and process improvement expertise across a range of engineering initiatives.
The Role
As an Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer, you will support engineering and quality activities from technical review and planning through implementation and performance monitoring. You will work with project teams, technical stakeholders, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure engineering requirements and quality expectations are consistently addressed.
This fully remote, part-time opportunity is suited to an engineering professional who can combine technical understanding with strong attention to detail, structured problem-solving, and effective project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Review electrical engineering requirements, technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering activities.
Monitor project quality requirements and ensure alignment with established standards and specifications.
Conduct technical and quality reviews to identify potential issues, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Support inspection, testing, verification, and documentation activities where required.
Investigate technical or quality issues and contribute to practical corrective actions.
Maintain accurate engineering reports, quality records, project documentation, and progress updates.
Contribute to process improvement, engineering efficiency, and quality assurance initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and management-level recommendations on engineering and quality matters.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline preferred.
3+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, quality engineering, project engineering, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, engineering principles, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, inspection, testing, and continuous improvement practices.
Familiarity with engineering specifications, project requirements, risk assessment, and compliance processes.
Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings, reports, specifications, and engineering documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to identifying root causes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
Ability to manage multiple technical and quality priorities within a remote working environment.
Strong attention to detail, professional judgment, teamwork, and commitment to engineering quality.
