Role Description The Senior Engineer will lead and oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Kolasib and involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, reviewing designs and drawings, and providing guidance to junior engineers and technicians. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning project activities, conducting technical analyses and calculations, troubleshooting issues on site, and preparing documentation such as reports, specifications, and project timelines. The Senior Engineer will collaborate with stakeholders, support project budgeting and resource allocation, and ensure that project milestones are met within schedule and quality expectations. The role also involves mentoring team members, recommending process improvements, and contributing to long-term engineering strategies for the organization.
Qualifications
Ability to lead engineering projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion, with attention to safety and compliance.
Strong skills in technical analysis, design review, and problem-solving, with the capacity to make informed decisions under time and resource constraints.
Experience supervising and mentoring engineers or technicians, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD platforms, modeling or analysis tools) and familiarity with applicable codes and standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and coordination with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (such as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in an engineering role with increasing responsibility, ideally including on-site project management or field supervision.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
