Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Management Engineer (HVAC & R) role based in Pune. The role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC & R projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing designs and drawings, preparing project schedules, managing resources, tracking progress, and resolving technical and operational issues on site. The Project Management Engineer will liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, prepare reports and documentation, and support quality control and cost optimization efforts. The role also includes contributing to product and system improvements by providing feedback from field performance and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Planning and Project Management skills to handle multiple HVAC & R projects, schedules, and resources.
Candidates should demonstrate solid Analytical Skills for assessing designs, performance data, and troubleshooting system issues.
Candidates should have effective Communication skills for clear interaction with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
Candidates should possess Product Development awareness or experience to support improvements in HVAC & R solutions and offerings.
Relevant degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related engineering field.
Experience in HVAC & R project execution, site supervision, and coordination with vendors and contractors.
Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and energy-efficient HVAC & R practices.
Proficiency with project management tools and basic CAD or design software is beneficial.
Ability to work independently on site, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project needs.
