Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker role based in Sas Nagar. The Freight Broker will coordinate daily freight movements by matching shippers with qualified carriers, negotiating rates, and securing loads. Responsibilities include managing dispatch activities, monitoring shipments, resolving issues, and ensuring timely pickup and delivery. The role involves maintaining strong customer and carrier relationships, handling incoming inquiries, and updating load information in internal systems. The Freight Broker will also collaborate with colleagues to meet performance targets and support continuous improvement in service quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess core freight industry skills, including Freight Brokerage and Brokerage.
Candidates should possess client-facing skills, including Customer Service and Account Management.
Candidates should possess operational logistics skills, including Dispatching and load coordination.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on-site in Sas Nagar, manage multiple tasks, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic proficiency with computers and logistics or CRM software; prior experience in US trucking or logistics is an advantage.
Relevant education in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
