Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Broker role based in Sas Nagar. The Freight Broker will manage the full freight cycle, including sourcing carriers, negotiating rates, and coordinating shipments across the United States. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with carriers and customers, handling dispatching activities, tracking loads, and resolving issues to ensure on-time delivery. The role involves monitoring market trends, optimizing routes and pricing, updating internal systems, and communicating shipment status to stakeholders. The Freight Broker will collaborate with team members to meet performance targets, support account growth, and uphold company service standards.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, with understanding of US transportation markets and regulations.
6Months to 3 yrs of relevant exp
Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to build and sustain long-term business relationships.
Experience in Dispatching, including coordinating loads, tracking shipments, and managing carrier communications.
Effective negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with logistics software, load boards, and standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM systems).
Relevant experience in freight brokerage or logistics; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related field is an advantage.
