Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Varanasi. The Electrical Engineer will design and review electrical systems for various projects, including power distribution and control systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical drawings and documentation, performing load calculations, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and troubleshooting electrical issues on-site. The role involves coordinating with project managers, technicians, and clients to ensure project timelines, safety requirements, and quality benchmarks are met. The Electrical Engineer will also assist in evaluating new technologies and proposing improvements to existing systems and processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with practical understanding of electricity and related safety standards.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, including creating and interpreting schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
Experience with Power Distribution systems, including load calculations, protection schemes, and panel board design.
Knowledge of Power Systems, such as transformers, switchgear, and network configurations for different types of facilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, local regulations).
Ability to use design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD or similar tools) for electrical layouts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and safety.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
Prior experience in field work, installations, or commissioning in an industrial or commercial environment is an advantage.
