Role Description The Interior Design Project Manager is responsible for leading interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring that design intent, timelines, and budgets are met. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating space planning and design development, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, and selecting furniture and finishes in alignment with project requirements. The role involves managing communication with clients, contractors, and vendors, scheduling site visits, monitoring on-site work progress, and resolving design or implementation issues. The Interior Design Project Manager will also oversee documentation, approvals, and quality checks to ensure compliance with design standards and project specifications. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional, aesthetic, and client-focused layouts.
Proficiency in Project Management, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to develop and interpret Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.
Knowledge of Furniture selection, planning, and coordination with overall design concepts.
Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic office productivity tools.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
