We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership, engineering oversight, and project support across electrical design, planning, coordination, and performance improvement initiatives.
The Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the planning, review, coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering activities. You will work with project teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are clearly understood and engineering solutions are effectively implemented.
This fully remote, part-time position is suited to an experienced electrical engineering professional who can combine strong technical knowledge with project coordination, analytical thinking, and effective stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate electrical engineering activities across assigned projects and initiatives.
Review electrical designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
Provide technical guidance and engineering input throughout project planning and execution.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, engineers, and project stakeholders.
Evaluate technical requirements and recommend practical, efficient engineering solutions.
Monitor engineering progress, technical deliverables, quality requirements, and project priorities.
Support testing, commissioning, inspection, verification, and technical review activities.
Identify technical risks, design issues, and potential project challenges and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, engineering assessments, and management recommendations.
Contribute to continuous improvement, engineering efficiency, and technical standards across projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline preferred.
3+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering, project engineering, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, engineering principles, design practices, and project requirements.
Knowledge of electrical distribution, power systems, control systems, equipment, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with engineering standards, testing procedures, quality requirements, and project specifications.
Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, and engineering documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple engineering priorities independently in a remote working environment.
Strong leadership, attention to detail, technical judgment, and commitment to engineering quality.
