Role Description The Maintainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Maintainer is responsible for performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment, facilities, or infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable operation. Daily tasks may include identifying and troubleshooting issues, documenting maintenance activities, and following established safety and quality procedures. The role involves collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to prioritize work orders, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement in maintenance practices. The Maintainer is expected to keep work areas organized, use tools and materials responsibly, and adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Ability to perform basic mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance, including inspections, minor repairs, and troubleshooting.
Experience following safety protocols, using personal protective equipment, and complying with relevant health and safety regulations.
Capability to read and understand work orders, maintenance logs, and simple technical instructions or diagrams.
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet operational needs.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with supervisors, technicians, and other team members.
Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai, including flexible hours or shifts as required by operational demands.
Prior experience in maintenance, facility operations, or a related field is preferred; vocational training or certification in maintenance or a technical trade is an advantage.
Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role, such as standing for extended periods, using tools, and handling materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.
