Role Description
The Student Volunteer role at Mingo Labs is a full-time, remote position designed for students who are interested in website design, social media management, content creation, and digital technology.
In this role, the volunteer will support the team with creating and updating website content, assisting with basic website design and improvements, managing social media platforms, preparing social media posts, and writing engaging digital content. The volunteer may also assist with creating captions, articles, promotional materials, and other content for digital platforms.
Depending on skills and interests, the volunteer may contribute to website updates, social media planning, content research, basic graphic/content creation, and other digital marketing activities. The role provides practical experience in a growing technology and digital solutions environment while allowing the volunteer to develop skills in web design, content writing, social media management, and digital communication.
This is a learning-focused opportunity for students who are looking to build practical experience, develop their portfolios, and gain exposure to real-world digital projects.
Qualifications
Currently studying for a Diploma in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
Strong interest in website designing, web technologies, social media management, content writing, and digital media.
Basic understanding of website design, web development, or content management is an advantage.
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok.
Good written English and the ability to create clear, engaging, and professional content.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or other productivity tools.
Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new digital tools and technologies.
Good communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while communicating effectively with the team.
A proactive attitude, reliability, and genuine interest in gaining practical experience in website design, social media, and digital content.
Previous experience is not required; students who are willing to learn and build their skills are encouraged to apply.
