About Carpediem Healthcare
Carpediem Healthcare is building a modern, science-led health and wellness brand focused on premium nutritional supplements. Our aim is to create strong, credible products backed by thoughtful formulation, premium branding and clear consumer education.
We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can build Carpediem into a strong, recognizable digital-first brand across social platforms.
Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and growing Carpediem Healthcare's social media presence.
This role requires someone who understands content strategy, Instagram growth, short-form video, brand storytelling, influencer marketing and performance-oriented content.
You should be able to convert scientific and product information into engaging, easy-to-understand content without making the brand feel overly technical or clinical.
The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable working on content calendars, briefing designers and creators, writing strong hooks, analysing performance and identifying new content opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the monthly and quarterly social media strategy for Carpediem Healthcare.
Manage the brand's presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and other relevant social platforms.
Create detailed monthly content calendars including reels, static posts, carousels, stories and educational content.
Develop strong content concepts, hooks, scripts, captions and campaign ideas.
Translate complex health, supplement and ingredient information into simple, engaging consumer-facing content.
Work closely with graphic designers, video editors, photographers and internal teams to ensure timely content production.
Plan and execute product launches, promotional campaigns and brand-awareness campaigns.
Build a consistent visual and communication identity across all social media platforms.
Identify trending formats, conversations, memes and content opportunities relevant to the health and wellness category.
Manage influencer and creator collaborations from outreach and negotiation to content briefing, approvals and publishing.
Build relationships with doctors, nutritionists, fitness creators and wellness influencers where relevant.
Ensure all influencer and brand content follows approved communication and regulatory guidelines.
Monitor comments, DMs, consumer feedback and social conversations and coordinate with the relevant internal teams where required.
Track competitor activity and identify emerging trends within the nutraceutical, healthcare and wellness industries.
Work closely with the performance marketing team to identify high-performing organic content that can be converted into advertisements.
Repurpose successful content across multiple platforms.
Maintain an organised content repository including raw footage, approved creatives, influencer content and brand assets.
Content Expectations
The Social Media Manager should be capable of developing content around:
Product education
Ingredient science
Consumer problems and solutions
Supplement myths and misconceptions
Founder-led content
Doctor and nutritionist collaborations
Customer testimonials and UGC
Product demonstrations
Lifestyle and aspirational content
Short-form educational videos

Website traffic generated from social media
Content production consistency
Influencer collaboration performance
UGC generation
Number of high-performing creatives generated
Social-assisted conversions

Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of hooks, retention and viral content formats.
Ability to analyse social media metrics and make data-backed decisions.
Experience managing influencer collaborations.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
Understands how modern D2C brands communicate.
Is obsessed with social media trends and content formats.
Can distinguish between content that simply looks good and content that actually performs.
Understands that healthcare communication requires accuracy and credibility.
Can take ownership rather than waiting for detailed instructions for every piece of content.
Is comfortable experimenting, analysing results and continuously improving content.
Important
Since Carpediem Healthcare operates in the health and nutraceutical category, the candidate must understand that accuracy is critical.
All health, ingredient and product-related communication must follow internally approved claims and regulatory guidelines. The Social Media Manager should never independently make medical, therapeutic or disease-treatment claims.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first few months, the Social Media Manager should be able to establish:
A consistent and recognizable Carpediem social media identity
A structured content-production system
Stronger organic Instagram growth
Multiple recurring content formats
A growing network of creators and healthcare professionals
Regular high-performing reels and educational content
A steady pipeline of content that can also support performance marketing
If you understand content, culture, health and modern D2C branding—and know how to turn them into social media that people actually want to watch—we would like to hear from you.
