Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Specialist role located in Rajkot. The Quality Assurance Specialist will monitor and inspect production processes and finished products to ensure they meet defined quality standards and customer specifications. Daily responsibilities include performing routine quality checks, documenting inspection results, assisting with root cause analysis for nonconformities, and supporting corrective and preventive actions. The role involves collaborating with production, maintenance, and management teams to implement quality procedures, maintain compliance with internal and external standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The specialist will also help prepare quality reports, support audits, and ensure that quality policies are clearly communicated and followed on the shop floor.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to monitor production output and verify compliance with established standards.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management to support implementation of quality systems, procedures, and continuous improvement activities.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure safe, consistent, and compliant manufacturing operations.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Auditing to prepare for and participate in internal and external audits and maintain accurate quality documentation.
Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field are preferred.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications are beneficial.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site are important.
Experience in casting, foundry, or related manufacturing environments is an advantage.
