Role Description The Application Support Analyst is a part-time, remote role responsible for providing technical and functional support for applications used across the S12 Security Guarding Leadership Group. On a day-to-day basis, this role will respond to user queries, investigate incidents, and troubleshoot application issues to ensure systems remain stable and accessible. The analyst will log and track support requests, escalate complex problems to appropriate technical teams, and contribute to documentation, FAQs, and user guides. The role also involves monitoring application performance, identifying recurring issues, and suggesting improvements to processes and tools that support the group’s workstreams and stakeholder engagement. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners will be essential to understand requirements, communicate resolutions, and maintain a high standard of service.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Application Support skills, including experience with user support, incident management, and documentation.
Candidates should possess solid Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
Candidates should possess well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, recognize patterns in recurring problems, and recommend process or system improvements.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain technical information clearly, manage stakeholder expectations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Relevant experience in supporting business applications or IT systems, preferably in a regulatory, security, or public safety environment, is beneficial.
Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and basic database or integration concepts is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and prioritize multiple support requests.
Formal education or certifications in IT, computer science, information systems, or related disciplines are desirable but not mandatory.
