Chief Training Officer

Role Description The Chief Training Officer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs for retail, customer service, and leadership teams. This role includes assessing current training needs, developing learning strategies and materials, and ensuring consistent delivery of training across all channels. The Chief Training Officer will monitor training effectiveness through performance metrics, feedback, and on-the-job evaluations, and will refine programs based on outcomes. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with management on training goals, conducting virtual training sessions, coaching team leaders, and aligning training initiatives with brand standards and business objectives. The role also involves maintaining documentation, managing training schedules, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
Strong Training & Development and Training experience, with a proven ability to design and implement structured learning programs.
Employee Training and Communication skills, including facilitating sessions, delivering clear instructions, and providing constructive feedback.
Analytical Skills to assess training needs, interpret performance data, and measure program effectiveness.
Experience in retail, fashion, or customer-facing environments, with an understanding of sales and service best practices.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with digital training tools and platforms, and familiarity with e-learning or blended learning approaches.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field; advanced training certifications are an advantage.
