HTC VIVE’s VIVERSE team is looking for a Sr. Manager, Monetization to develop and lead monetization strategies across advertising, subscriptions, and strategic partnerships.
You will define monetization strategy, shape product priorities, build key partnerships, and work across teams to deliver measurable business results.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monetization Product
Own monetization strategy across advertising and subscriptions, translating opportunities into product priorities and roadmaps.
Define monetization models, pricing, packaging, product requirements, success metrics, and business cases.
Drive initiatives from opportunity identification through launch, measurement, and iteration.
Partner across Product, Engineering, Data, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to drive execution.
Advertising
Own advertising monetization across inventory, demand partnerships, yield, and commercial optimization.
Develop relationships with advertisers, agencies, DSPs, SSPs, ad networks, and technology partners.
Define the roadmap for future VIVERSE supply-side / SSP capabilities, including inventory management, demand routing, measurement, and yield optimization.
Monitor performance, identify revenue opportunities and risks, and drive improvement.
Subscription & Partnerships
Define subscription monetization across pricing, packaging, benefits, promotions, bundles, and distribution models.
Develop partnerships with device manufacturers, telecom operators, platforms, content providers, and ecosystem partners.
Structure and execute distribution, bundling, and commercial partnerships from business case through launch.
Optimize offers and partnerships based on conversion, retention, LTV, partner economics, and incremental revenue.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of relevant experience in product management, monetization, digital advertising, subscriptions, partnerships, or related technology businesses.
3+ years of experience leading monetization, product, or business initiatives with measurable impact.
Experience in digital advertising, AdTech, subscription products, platform monetization, or strategic partnerships.
Experience with programmatic advertising, DSPs, SSPs, ad networks, or yield optimization.
Experience with subscription pricing, bundling, distribution partnerships, or subscriber economics.
Experience negotiating strategic commercial partnerships.
Experience scaling monetization products across multiple markets.
Proven ability to translate business opportunities into product strategy, roadmaps, and execution plans.
Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with experience using data and financial metrics to make decisions.
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Fluent in English and comfortable operating in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Working Conditions
Primary work location is indoors
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and long periods of detailed work with VR equipment

At the time of posting, HTC's estimated annual base salary for this position is $133,000 – $154,800 USD. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including candidate skills, qualifications, experience, business needs, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for participation in our discretionary bonus programs.
