Role Description The Mathematiklehrer (Mathematics Teacher) role at Hyatt Hotels Corporation is a full-time, remote position responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to learners connected to Hyatt’s development and training initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include planning and teaching mathematics lessons, preparing instructional materials, and aligning content with established curricula and educational standards. The role involves assessing learner progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching methods to diverse learning needs and backgrounds. The Mathematiklehrer will collaborate with other educators and program stakeholders to refine curriculum content, integrate practical applications relevant to business and hospitality, and ensure all instructional activities support overall training objectives. This remote position requires effective digital communication, consistent availability during agreed teaching hours, and adherence to Hyatt’s professional and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach a range of topics clearly and accurately.
Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design structured, engaging, and outcome-focused learning experiences.
Status as a Qualified Teacher with relevant teaching certifications or licenses, and proven classroom or online teaching experience.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible terms and support diverse learners.
Experience with remote or online teaching platforms, digital tools, and learning management systems.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Knowledge of or interest in applying mathematical concepts to business, finance, or hospitality contexts is beneficial.
