Role Description The Article Assistant will support senior professionals in audit, accounting, taxation, and compliance assignments on a day-to-day basis. Typical responsibilities include assisting with bookkeeping, preparing working papers, compiling financial statements, and helping with tax return preparation and documentation. The role also involves collecting and organizing client data, maintaining accurate records, and performing basic research on relevant laws, regulations, and standards. The Article Assistant will participate in audits, support internal reviews, and help prepare reports and summaries for clients and internal use. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring consistent office presence and occasional client visits as needed.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in accounting principles and basic knowledge of auditing and taxation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting or tax software is an advantage.
Ability to organize documents, maintain orderly files, and manage multiple assignments with attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Analytical mindset, willingness to learn, and capacity to follow professional standards and firm procedures.
Enrollment in or completion of a relevant professional course (e.g., CA article training as applicable) or a degree in commerce, accounting, or finance.
Ethical conduct, reliability, and readiness to work in a structured, full-time on-site environment in Ahmedabad.
