Role Description This is a part-time remote role for an Interior Designer at 3d max. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare space plans, and create detailed drawings and visual presentations to communicate design intent. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating interior layouts, selecting finishes, fixtures, and furniture, and preparing FF&E schedules based on project requirements. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders or clients, refining designs based on feedback, and ensuring that documentation aligns with architectural and construction standards. The Interior Designer will also maintain organized project files and meet agreed timelines for deliverables while working independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, aesthetically cohesive layouts.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Architecture and Construction Drawings for coordinating design with building standards and implementation.
Candidates should possess experience in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment coordination and specification.
Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., 3ds Max, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills are required for remote, part-time project work.
Effective communication skills and the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders are important.
A relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio demonstrating design work.
