Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. Indicative range: $50,000 – $80,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Health Coach to support members on their health and wellbeing journeys. The role combines motivational interviewing with structured behaviour change — helping people build habits that actually stick.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions via video, phone, or messaging
- Develop personalised health and wellness plans with members
- Use motivational interviewing to guide behaviour change conversations
- Track member progress, engagement, and outcomes
- Coordinate with clinical staff on members who need higher-acuity support
- Maintain accurate documentation in the platform
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Health coaching certification (NBC-HWC, ACSM, ACE Health Coach, or equivalent)
- 2+ years of health, fitness, nutrition, or wellness coaching experience
- Strong understanding of motivational interviewing and behaviour change
- Excellent written and verbal communication and empathetic presence
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and digital coaching tools
- Bachelor's degree in health-related field is a plus
