Retention Marketing Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a Retention Marketing Executive to drive customer engagement, repeat purchases, and retention for a growing healthcare and wellness brand.
This role focuses on the complete customer lifecycle — lead → purchase → product experience → repeat purchase. You will be responsible for converting interested leads, reducing customer drop-offs, and increasing repeat revenue through WhatsApp, email, CRM, and marketing automation.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute segmented WhatsApp and email campaigns for different customer lifecycle stages.
Build lead nurture journeys for quiz-takers, enquiries, checkout abandoners and other prospects.
Create post-purchase journeys covering onboarding, reminders, product experience, repeat purchase and win-back.
Develop and manage CRM and marketing automation workflows using triggers, timing and customer behaviour.
Segment customers based on lifecycle stage, purchase history, engagement, recency/frequency, and other relevant data.
Write clear, persuasive and customer-focused WhatsApp and email communication.
Analyse retention, repeat purchase, cohort and funnel data to identify customer drop-offs and opportunities.
Track campaign performance and continuously test messaging, timing, segmentation and CTAs.
Monitor WhatsApp and email health, including opt-outs, engagement, deliverability and compliance.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer experience teams to improve the overall customer journey.
Ensure all healthcare-related communication follows responsible marketing and communication practices.
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in Retention Marketing, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Email Marketing, WhatsApp Marketing, or Growth Marketing.
Hands-on experience managing WhatsApp and email campaigns.
Experience with CRM/marketing automation tools and customer journey creation.
Strong understanding of segmentation, customer lifecycle, retention, and repeat purchase marketing.
Ability to analyse campaign and customer data and turn insights into actionable campaigns.
Good copywriting skills with a strong understanding of customer psychology.
Familiarity with cohort analysis, RFM, funnel metrics and retention KPIs is an advantage.
Strong execution, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in healthcare, wellness, D2C or consumer brands is preferred but not mandatory.
Success in This Role
Your primary goal will be to convert more existing leads, reduce customer drop-offs, increase repeat purchases, and grow retention revenue.
We are looking for someone who can move beyond simply sending campaigns and understand who should receive what message, at what stage, through which channel, and why.
