Role Description The General Manager – GCC is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing and expanding MMP’s operations and business development across the GCC region. This position involves defining and executing regional strategy, managing key client relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. The role includes coordinating with internal teams and group leadership, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring projects and services meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The General Manager will lead planning and reporting activities, support contract negotiations, and guide local partners or representatives to achieve commercial and operational objectives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in general management, regional leadership, or country management, ideally within industrial, manufacturing, or related sectors.
Demonstrated skills in business development, sales strategy, and client relationship management in the GCC or comparable international markets.
Strong capabilities in financial oversight, budgeting, and performance tracking to support profitable and sustainable growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and remote teams.
Solid understanding of the GCC economic environment, regulatory frameworks, and industrial market dynamics.
Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity, prioritize multiple initiatives, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is an asset.
Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is advantageous.
