Vaachi Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead and support multiple projects throughout the software development life cycle. The role focuses on advanced business analysis, requirements management, stakeholder collaboration, and project facilitation.
Working remotely, the Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to understand business needs, document and manage requirements, and support projects from requirements definition through the broader SDLC. The ideal candidate brings at least 8 years of relevant experience, strong communication and facilitation abilities, and familiarity with tools such as Modern Requirements and Atlassian Jira.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business analysis activities across multiple technology projects.
Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements.
Support requirements throughout the software development life cycle.
Collaborate with business, technical, and project stakeholders.
Facilitate discussions to identify business needs and project requirements.
Translate stakeholder needs into clear and actionable requirements.
Maintain requirements documentation and support requirements management processes.
Use tools such as Modern Requirements and Atlassian Jira to support project activities.
Help ensure alignment between business requirements and technology solutions.
Support project teams throughout different stages of the SDLC.
Communicate project and requirements-related information clearly to stakeholders.
Contribute to technology initiatives supporting the Texas Education Agency's mission and student outcomes.
Qualifications
8+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience.
Advanced business analysis and requirements management experience.
Experience working throughout the software development life cycle.
Familiarity with Modern Requirements.
Familiarity with Atlassian Jira.
Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent facilitation skills.
Ability to manage and lead business analysis activities across multiple projects.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
